Within the course you will cover the major themes including Marketing & People, Managing Business Activities, Business Decisions and Global Business.
Day 1 will cover some of the more difficult topics covered in first year. Day 2 and Day 3 will aim to tackle some of the tougher second year content such as thinking synoptically and the research theme paper 3. Within each day there will also be a focus on applying students subject knowledge in the exam using the correct technique.

Two carefully designed one day intensive revision courses in the crucial time just before exam season. The courses are suitable for students in the second year of their A-level. Our tutors will focus specifically on hot topics, exam technique and key revision strategies.

Mark has taught Business and Economics for twenty years both overseas (in Sri Lanka and Thailand) and in the UK. As well as being a Principal Examiner for Business, Mark has extensive examining experience with all of the major examination boards and is part of the teacher training team for AQA and Eduqas. He has an MA in the Economics of Education and co-authored a paper on academic pay which was published by the LSE. He has also written a teacher’s guide book to accompany a recently published textbook and is currently a Head of Economics and Business at a school in Surrey.
The revision courses will be held at Esher College, Weston Green Road, Thames Ditton, KT7 0JB.
Esher College can be reached on the South West train Line from Waterloo to Hampton Court. Trains run every half-hour and the College is a two minute walk from Thames Ditton Station.
Alternatively a fast service is run by South West trains between Waterloo and Guildford. Trains run every half-hour and the College is a 15 minute walk from Esher Station.
The college is conveniently located near the A3 and there is ample parking on site. If students are planning to drive then please fill out car registration details on the application form.
