Our ethos is…

…to provide high quality, effective and stimulating revision courses across a range of subjects.

As A levels have now moved to linear assessment, with all exams taking place at the end of two years of study, we firmly believe that our courses are perfectly placed to equip students with the subject knowledge and exam technique to achieve success. Above all, A Level Revision UK are committed to the highest educational standards and our courses reflect this in design and execution.

Unlike many other revision courses on the market our tutors are highly qualified teachers who specialise in teaching at A level, many of whom are also examiners and heads of department. In addition our courses are exam board specific meaning students only study the content relevant to them.

The company was originally founded by two teachers working in the sixth form sector under the guise of PE Perform Ltd providing high quality revision courses in PE. Due to the success of the students and the incredible feedback received, the company expanded to other subjects and with continued success here we are now as A Level Revision UK.

Company Directors

Russell Tomlin

Russell has seventeen years experience of teaching at A Level and is a current Head of Academic PE at an outstanding Independent school. Russell also has over twelve years experience as Head of PE and Sport at an ‘outstanding’ large Sixth Form College of high repute. His MA in Education researched congruencies between student, teacher and OFSTED perceptions of an outstanding A Level PE lesson. He firmly believes in encouraging tutors to bring their own subject to life by using kinaesthetic teaching methods as well as encouraging students to become independent learners. One of the first things Russell asks of A Level Revision UK tutors is to be aspirational with students in challenging them to use higher order thinking skills as well as implementing strategies for students to use exam technique effectively.

Abigail Chadd

Abigail has been teaching for over twelve years and has taught in a range of sixth forms and colleges on varying exam boards. She has previously been an examiner and has a plethora of experience in individual tuition. Abigail's experience as both a teacher and examiner has enabled her to really understand the complexities of delivering highly stimulating content alongside essential exam technique. In both her teaching and tuition Abigail takes a very structured approach in preparing students for the summer examination and specialises in stretching and challenging the most able students. After being disappointed in what she observed her students were receiving from external revision companies she set about creating a series of revision courses along with Russell which were both high quality and reasonably priced.
