Terms & Conditions

By signing up to our classes, course/s or online tuition you agree to the following terms and conditions.

1. Parental/Legal Guardian Permission 

Any student/s under the age of 18 signing up or being signed up for any of our courses must have parental or a legal guardian’s permission to do so.

 

2. Registration procedures

Class and course registrations are made via our website www.a-levelrevision.uk and payments can be made in a number of ways including:

  • Stripe

  • PayPal

  • Eventbrite

  • BACS transfer

You will always receive automated course confirmation via the payment platform used followed by an e-mail containing detailed joining instructions.  If there are any queries as to the registration or payment process, please do not hesitate to contact us at info@a-levelrevision.uk

3. Timetables 

Our timetables are an accurate guide of the course content that will be covered during our classes or courses.  Our tutors will do their best to ensure the content is covered, however tutors will adapt the content based upon each group and therefore cannot guarantee that it will be perfectly in line with the timetables published. 

4. Change of Location and Tutors

We reserve the right to change the advertised tutors at our discretion.  We also reserve the right to change the advertised course location, giving reasonable notice to attending students.

5. Facilities

A Level Revision UK will hire facilities from third parties including St Mary’s University, Twickenham and Manchester Metropolitan University. Please note we have no formal connection with these facilities.

6. Course rules 

By attending students agree to adhere to the following course rules:

Course Rules

  • All students will be subject to the Course Rules. Any student breaking the Rules may be asked to leave by the course director and no refunds will be made.

  • Students must arrive on time for lessons and may not leave early unless permission has been requested and approved by the tutor.

  • Any damage to property, equipment or materials must be paid for by the student or their family.

  • Consumption of alcohol is not permitted anywhere on the premises and smoking to designated smoking zones.

  • Any suspicion of drug taking is likely to lead to immediate suspension by the course director while a Police investigation is conducted.

  • Bullying will not be tolerated and is likely to lead to immediate suspension by the course director.

  • Students are expected to be courteous to all staff and to behave in a civilised and respectful manner within the course and whilst travelling to and from it.

7. Asking for a student to leave 

If our tutors feel that a student is not adhering to the course rules outlined above, we reserve the right to ask them to leave the course.  In these circumstances, no refunds will be made. 

8. Personal Belongings 

A Level Revision UK is not responsible for any personal belongings that students bring to the courses.

9. Liability  

A Level Revision UK does not insure the student against illness, accident, theft or loss of possessions. Fees cannot be refunded if a student arrives late, leaves early, is absent for some or all of the course or for any other such reason.  

Students are strongly advised to ensure they have an insurance policy which covers them for such eventualities, however they may be caused.   

A Level Revision UK shall not be liable for any failure to provide services if caused by industrial action, wars, acts of terrorism, natural disasters, disease or disruption of travel services and shall be exempt from all such liabilities howsoever caused to the participants at any time during the entire course.

10. Medical Treatment  

In the case of a medical or dental emergency, every reasonable effort will be made to contact the parents of the student and, if these are located overseas, the guardian who is acting for them whilst they are here in the UK.  Should this be impossible in the time frame required by the professional staff, the course director is hereby authorised to give consent to treatment recommended by qualified medical staff (including anaesthetic or operation).

11. Promotional Materials  

A Level Revision UK may wish to use photographs or video or digital images of the students on the course for future promotional purposes. Any parent not wishing to permit this for their son/daughter must write to the course director at the time of Registration so they may be excluded from such images, clearly stating the names of students to be excluded.

12. Refund and Cancellations | Student 

You may cancel a course booking up to 30 days prior to the course start date and receive a full refund.  Beyond this time no refunds will be made unless at the discretion of A Level Revision UK.     

We will make the reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction.

13. Refund and Cancellations | A Level Revision UK 

In the unlikely event that a course does not meet minimum numbers A level Revision UK reserves the right to cancel the course.  If this were to occur, we will seek to notify students at the earliest opportunity with a minimum notice period of two weeks prior to the course start date.

We will make the refund using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction.

If a tutor is ill and a suitable replacement cannot be found, we will provide as much notices as reasonably possible to students and a full refund will be made using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction.
