Advance Information

Advance information has been released for the summer 2022 exam series. This is to help students direct their revision to the topics that are going to be examined.

How should students use the information?

The information will help students and their tutors to plan targeted revision based upon the content that is going to be covered. More time should be spent revising these topic areas, however students are also encouraged to revise other areas of the spec not on the list as knowledge from across the specification will be beneficial when answering synoptic questions and those with a levels response.

How do I find the advance information?

The information can be found on each exam board website, we have included a list below to help you access the correct page for each exam board easily.

  1. Take a look at the list and if you can print or get a copy from your teacher.

  2. Over half term create a revision timetable prioritising the topics on the list.

  3. Revise each of the topic areas in detail using a range of revision strategies.

  4. Practice past paper questions on the topic and self mark using the mark schemes available.

  5. Become the examiner, look at the spec for each topic and think about the different types of questions you would ask? Create model answers for these questions.
