  • Tackle the ‘hot topics’ as identified by Joesphine

  • Develop the skills required to successfully answer high tariff questions in the summer exams

11.30-12.30pm Research Methods

  • Mastering the challenging topics including stats tests and how to design a study.

  • How to ensure full marks on commonly questioned topics such as hypotheses and interpreting data.

1.30-2.45pm

  • Josephines Hot topics for approaches and biopsychology.

3-4pm Issues and Debates

  • Issues and debates- hot topics

  • Evaluation of issues and debates

Day 2 Workshop | Thursday 10th April

10-11.15am Exam Technique and Application Focus

  • How to ace short answer questions- common types and exam tips

11.30-12.30am

  • Dos and don’ts for 8 and 16 marker questions

1.30-2.45pm Research methods

  • The ‘what, why and how’ of research methods

  • Responding correctly to the full range of question types.

3-4pm Putting It All Together

  • Examiner marking activity

  • Key tips, advice and ways to revise.

  • How to improve timings in the exam!
